This season had a horrible start with EC going down in game 1 and looks like it will end in a similar horrible fashion with a loss to a dreadful UMass team. I can't say I will be sorry this season is over. It has been one long huge disappointment. I am going to keep my hopes in check next season. No more promise. I need results. I am not going to get excited about our incoming recruits or returning players either. Show me otherwise. Many of our players had high rankings coming in but have not been justified due to inconsistency. They have just as many bad games as good.

The defense is playing better but we just don't have the firepower on offense to catch up unless we are shooting lights out from the floor (and we are obviously not doing that).

long tough season to watch...four basically needs to pull a reggie miller at this point...i give it about a 5 % chance at this point

Hey you guys who played competitive ball, help me answer this: How can someone get as cold as Terrell after several solid games? How does Four have no touch again? How does every shooter have a bad night on the same night??

How can JG suddenly not be able to drive to the bucket? Thompson and Akele not be able to score? The shots aren't even CLOSE.

It simply can't be the coach hasn't gotten them 'up' for the game. Good players have that INSIDE them. You can't stop the good players from getting up for a game this important.

Do we really just have young players who choke under pressure? That seems the only answer to me. I'm a '208' type optimist, but I'll take it a step further than he will: we are all angry and hurt right now. Bad things can happen again next year. BUT, be honest, would any of you bet against me if I put down 10-grand and said they WILL make the Dance next year? Would any of you bet against that happening with real money? So we have hope. Waiting another year sucks. Some of us are OLD. Time is short. But next year we WILL dance.
