I'm hyped to play at #7 Maryland right away!

Big game! Chance to show off what we got to a lot of people.

And what we perhaps, dont got.

Fitting to begin the year with this one. There isn't a single months we wont be playing multiple teams that will be playing deep into march.

If he’s back close to 100%, PC is going to be scary good.

I had posted recently that I had heard from some of my PC contacts that Holt was looking very good. Don’t be surprised to see him in the starting line up. He is in great shape and very excited about playing in this, his 6th season. Have a ton of respect for Holt.

I find myself generally disliking a lot of VCU fans but having a lot of respect for the program, especially now that Wade is gone. Good article on Evans- guy’s tough...

Probably a shot in the dark, but does anyone have the 2017/2018 intro video at all - the one that that would play at the Ryan Center right before announcing the starting lineup.

I have it but I don’t believe it’s online due to copyright on the music.

I lost most of my respect for this kid after the Jeff scuffle in the hand shake line...he accused JEFF of flagrantly fouling him and couldn’t have been more wrong....

I think that’s probably a little unfair. He was dumb and wrong for that, but emotions run hot in those types of situations. One way or another, he’s a great player and tough as hell, so I respect him for that.

I dont blame him for being upset at Jeff.

I mean Jeff is a star on the Rhode Island Rams and the Rhody Rams had just won their sixth out of seven games against VCU.

Must be pretty frustrating.

Btw, VCU fans continued that problem confronting Jeff’s father at the A10 hotel. Totally classless. Jeff had to intervene to prevent it from escalating.

Kid is like a 23-24 year old senior isn’t he?

I don’t condone idiocy. He was loud, obnoxious and wrong.

I despise poor sportsmanship. He was the poster boy for it.

Thought we were playing the LIU-Brooklyn Balckbirds.

However we are playing the SHARKS

Long Island University Sharks

Who just came into existence, technically, in July.

"The LIU Sharks are the result of the July 1, 2019 unification of the athletic departments which had previously represented two separate campuses of LIU, the NCAA Division I LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds and the NCAA Division II LIU Post Pioneers."

An excerpt of the wikipedia page.

We are dealing with a hybrid here folks, the likes of which nobody has ever seen until they step into the Ryan Center!

With regards to VCU, there is only one current A-10 program that the Rams from Richmond have a losing all time record against - that one conference team is RHODE ISLAND.

As of now, there is no TV announced for the WVU game. According to the WVU website, the game will be carried locally on Root sports/AT&T Sportsnet (a regional sports network that covers Pittsburgh and West Virginia). Is anyone closer to how these things work and in a position to say whether this game may be picked up somewhere for URI fans, even online, since it is already being produced by the WVU-associated network? Perhaps Yurview would pick it up locally? The Patriots do not play that afternoon (they are on SNF). It would be a shame to not have this game on TV on a day that many sports fans will be sitting around avoiding the cold outside and looking for something to watch, and it would be ridiculous for URI fans to not be able to see one of the biggest games of the season in the year 2019 - especially those of us who are paying for ESPN+ which has a relationship with both the A10 and the B12.
