Wonder if they could just delay the storming by 10 seconds until the players are off?

Unfortunately I not think any administrative remedies are not gonna work, short of shoulder to shoulder security folks lining the court. PA pleas and PA warnings wouldn’t cut it. We kinda already do that with Yorke saying something to the affect of stay off the court. I think each visiting team have its own use of bench staff plan to gather players, huddle up kinda like Duke did, but earlier. Interesting dilemma for facility operations. The court storms are no longer one off incidents.

It makes for great TV. I'd hate to see it end but I have a feeling that is coming.

Have a shot clock start immediately after the game, buzzer goes off, crowd storms.

Builds up the hype, kids can count down to 0, storm and celebrate.

Easy fix.

it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye, er gets hurt. I don't like Duke at all, but it truly sucks that kid got injured. I love a court storm, but, people/fans/facilities can't be trusted to make it not dangerous anymore, so it may be time to end it. Easily done...fans storm the court, it's a forfeit. Done. I think part of the problem is everyone's running around like chickens with no heads looking at their phones...of course you're going to run into someone...

Makes the old Big Five tradition of throwing streamers after the first basket seem quaint.

I guess for the RC maybe we won’t have to be concerned about that for a while…….maybe when we clinch outright A-10 regular season championship at home…….?

I'm hearing that some Rhody fans want to storm the court when URI gets a defensive stop.

I think Bilas is a good analyst and like him on TV for the most part. Part of that is the unintentional comedy like this

yep, tripping is a cheap ass penalty in any sport, why the consequences are usually pretty high. oftentimes the tripper winds up more hurt than the trippee...

Even if he wasn't, why the hell was he so lackadaisical about getting off the court?

Everyone knows it's coming, be by your bench and GTFO at the buzzer

Fans storming the court- although in the moment and excitement can he dangerous. Even saying this makes me feel old BUT I have been stormed by in the past and no one storming the court is “watching out” for bystanders.

We could celebrate the end of the season with a court storming.

I think it needs to be pursued. Only, instead of a wave of maniacs, just running onto the court, fueled by some kinda something, it's us, the regular crowd, and we just kind of slowly, as fast as we can walk, all get out there on the court. No one gets hurt, 'cause no one is moving that fast, we're all just kinda milling around out there, aimlessly out there on the court. Kinda like the team, but a little slower.

Technically, not clinched on Friday, but all they had to do is defeat one league win Dartmouth last night, which they did. Students knew Friday night was the big game.
I was at the game. Wild game: great atmosphere. Harvard brought its pep band and cheerleaders. I assume not a dollar of NIL money. Brown up 50-33 at one point and then needing a clutch three pointer with 5.9 seconds left to get it to overtime.

I would have liked the idea of a slow motion, walking dead like storming for the GM game.
