That’s one of the biggest sports parody accounts on Twitter.
Just look at the bio.
Very easy to realize it’s fake.
That’s one of the biggest sports parody accounts on Twitter.
Parody account. Its bio is: "Esteemed sports journalist & Patriots Beat Writer Double PHD in Journalism & Female Anatomy."
I see where Huggins was wanting the Louisville job, no dice...
The guy who runs this account is a Providence fan BTW. Known parody account in the CBB world.SGreenwell wrote: ↑5 months agoParody account. Its bio is: "Esteemed sports journalist & Patriots Beat Writer Double PHD in Journalism & Female Anatomy."
KJ also deleted that tweet he had last week about in conversations with Ed Cooley about an open position but nothing was final and he wanted to remain transparent.
Maybe a little of both? Hard to know what's going on behind the scenes. My take on it at this point is I hope he stays, but at the same time I never expected him to be here long and still feel that way whether he stays for next season or not.
hahahaaha I love this account. They always have the best quotes.SGreenwell wrote: ↑5 months agoParody account. Its bio is: "Esteemed sports journalist & Patriots Beat Writer Double PHD in Journalism & Female Anatomy."
That’s a fairly well known parody account. One of the better onessteviep123 wrote: ↑5 months ago Wow! Just Wow!
Edit: I can't find any other source for this, so this might be a parady account or soemthing - my apologies.
KJ’s connections are meaningless if the NIL money doesn’t match.
So we are paying over $2M for a coach who can't bring in talent without fans buying them?rambone 78 wrote: ↑5 months ago I have a sneaking suspicion that our bigger boosters realize just how important this offseason is to the future of this coach and program, and are or will step up to ensure Archie can bring in the talent he needs to get good again.
Consider the alternative. It's not pretty.
Two games vs.Vermont, Bryant, and the rest of America East?rambone 78 wrote: ↑5 months ago I have a sneaking suspicion that our bigger boosters realize just how important this offseason is to the future of this coach and program, and are or will step up to ensure Archie can bring in the talent he needs to get good again.

You got me!steviep123 wrote: ↑5 months ago well although I posted this not realizing it was parody, I'm glad folks got some joy out of it today.
Apparently, that’s what we are being told. BS isn’t it. Next years add campaign: Buy game tix and players!theblueram wrote: ↑5 months agoSo we are paying over $2M for a coach who can't bring in talent without fans buying them?rambone 78 wrote: ↑5 months ago I have a sneaking suspicion that our bigger boosters realize just how important this offseason is to the future of this coach and program, and are or will step up to ensure Archie can bring in the talent he needs to get good again.

Insanity has a limit, so they say. There's a sucker born every day.
Once again. You need both.theblueram wrote: ↑5 months agoSo we are paying over $2M for a coach who can't bring in talent without fans buying them?rambone 78 wrote: ↑5 months ago I have a sneaking suspicion that our bigger boosters realize just how important this offseason is to the future of this coach and program, and are or will step up to ensure Archie can bring in the talent he needs to get good again.

Exactly - Houston has a great team but it's because of the millions of dollars that Mattress Mack has provided to their collective. You going to tell me that Houston fans should be upset because Houston pays Sampson "$5M for a coach who needs fans to buy players"?Blue Man wrote: ↑5 months agoOnce again. You want a good coach? It costs money.
You want good facilities? It costs money.
You want good players? It costs money.
You can revive John Wooden from the dead. If you give him our roster how many more games do we win?
You can take UConn and have Jerry D coach them. Do they even make the tournament?
You need all of it. That’s why Dan left - because the prevailing opinions around Kingston and our fanbase always settle on questions like “why do we need this” and not answers like “ok what else can we give you to help you win?”
And it's come out that John Wooden had Sam Gilbert paying players for him. NIL if you willBlue Man wrote: ↑5 months agoOnce again. Coach K is not the reason Dan left.PeterRamTime wrote: ↑5 months ago And it's f'n bullshit
Rhody hoops would be rolling right now.
Maybe not natty's, but perennial tournament teams and plenty of ability to knock off anyone.
Blah blah blah coach K, you killed us because you had the perfect match up against is. Lucky for you we guarded a 7 footer with 6'4 Stan Robinson.
There's no doubt Dan would have kept getting great guards and would eventually get some P5 level bigs.
What I said has NOTHING to do with that and I'm not pissed at Dan lol what??Rhody15 wrote: ↑5 months agoCoach K is not the reason Dan left.PeterRamTime wrote: ↑5 months ago And it's f'n bullshit

As has been said multiple times over the last 7 years, the wheels were set in motion months before they played Duke.
Dan was never staying here, regardless of what we gave him.
The dude still shouts us out at press conferences. Still loves the school.
Can't be pissed off at him.

Once again, Rhody 15 reads into something and he's totally off base. What in your brain made you think by me saying "Coach K can suck a dick" means "omg it's coach K's fault!"
Coach K saying that was a shot at our program, that's what I'm quite clearly addressing. It was condescending.
"Oh Dan, you gotta get out of shitty Rhode Island, you're too good for that, go do what every coach does and take an easier job, screw staying at a mid major and making then great"
But no, Rhody 15 goes "how can I read into this statement in a way I can tell someone they're stupid?"
Like I logged back on and KNEW you'd say something
He's not wrong. We deserve the condescending comments.PeterRamTime wrote: ↑5 months agoCoach K saying that was a shot at our program, that's what I'm quite clearly addressing.
