Save the date for the newly minted Homecoming Hoopfest which will include an exclusive Full Season Ticket Holders Appreciation Reception.
New for 2023 we are inviting all fans to attend the Homecoming Hoopfest which will include introductions of the 2023-24 Men’s and Women’s teams as well as contests, a Men's Basketball Scrimmage and autograph session.
Season ticket holders will be provided with a special reception in the Ryan Center and will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the coaches and players from men's and women's basketball teams, enjoy complimentary appetizers and drinks brought to you by our food and drink partners as well as get an exclusive look at the new Soloviev Practice Facility.
Each ticket account holder will be allowed to invite as many guests as they have season tickets for into the private reception. For example, if you have four (4) season tickets you may bring 4 people including yourself to this event.
Additional information and registration information for the event will be sent out via email in the next several weeks.

While Hoopfest is open to the public the season ticket holder reception is an exclusive event for all Rhode Island Basketball season ticket holders.
We are inviting all fans to attend Hoopfest which will include introductions of the 2023-24 Men’s and Women’s teams, as well as contests, a Men's Basketball Scrimmage, and an autograph session.
Season ticket holders will be provided with a special reception in the Ryan Center and have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the coaches and players from the men's and women's basketball teams, receive a special gift for attending, and get an exclusive look at the new Soloviev Practice Facility.
Event Check-In and Entrance – All season ticket holders and their guests must enter the Ryan Center at the main entrance doors which are located on the North Side of the Ryan Center off West Alumni Avenue. Please follow all posted signs for the entrance to the event. The South Lobby will be closed for this event.
# of Guests per Season Ticket Holder Account – Each ticket account holder will be allowed to bring as many guests (including themselves) as they have season tickets to the private reception. For example, if you have four (4) season tickets you may bring four (4) people including yourself to this event.
Parking – Parking is available in the Ram Lot located directly in front of the Ryan Center as well as in the Plains Road lot across the street from the Ram Lot. Parking for this event is first-come-first-served.
Attire – Casual attire is encouraged as this will be a casual event that will provide season ticket holders with the opportunity to mingle with the teams in a fun and interactive way. Sneakers and soft-soled shoes are encouraged for the tour of the practice facility
Food & Beverage - Enjoy complimentary appetizers and drinks brought to you by Catering Gourmet, Matunuck Oyster Bar, Coca-Cola, Shaidzon Beer Company, Whalers, Narragansett, McLaughlin and Moran, and Haxton Liquors. As well as pick up your exclusive event gift for attendees brought to you by URI Athletics and the Ryan Center. Additional beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Ram Zone – The URI Bookstore and Ram Zone will be offering season ticket holders and their guests a special 20% discount on Ram Zone items.
Soloviev Practice Facility Tours - After you check in and grab a bite to eat we invite all season ticket holders to walk over and check out the practice facility between 5:00 PM and 6:15 PM. The facility will close at 6:15 pm in time for the start of Hoopfest in the Ryan Center. Sneakers and soft-soled shoes are encouraged for the tour of the practice facility
