UMASS QB had a strong game - he previously played at Georgia Tech and Clemson
UMASS was a 7 point underdog opening the season at NMSU

FBS Toilet Bowl Presented by Crane Plumbing

UMass was beat at home by UConn today 31-18 in the annual FBS Toilet Bowl presented by Crane Plumbing. Both teams finished the season with identical 3-9 records with one of the wins being against an FCS opponent. Their FBS wins against other teams were New Mexico State, Army, and Rice (UConn).
