Top 8 teams make the A10 tournament, all games in the tournament will be on the campus of the higher seed. Last year we finished tied for 11th, four points out of making the conference tournament. We finished 6th in 2021

We're picked to finish 13th out of 15 teams and we did not have any players picked for the preseason all-conference team

So far we are 0-4-3 in non-conference with one non-conference game remaining Sunday at Brown. We start conference play tonight at Saint Joseph's at 7 on ESPN+

Our last game a week ago tonight was a 3-1 home loss vs. #33 Wake Forest. Saint Louis has gone from #21 preseason to #25 currently with a 5-2-1 record

The A10 commissioner should be judged on one thing only, the strength of men's basketball

Because the commissioner controls the success of men's basketball teams the same way the commish controls women's soccer, men's track and field, etc.?

The women's team currently holds the 8th and final spot to play in the A10 tournament, though we're technically tied with Fordham for 7th. Our RPI is 259. Our remaining schedule:

10/12 (Thu) 6 pm at St. Bonaventure St. Bonaventure, NY, on ESPN+, tied for 9th place, RPI of 264
10/15 (Sun) 1 pm vs #24 Saint Louis URI Soccer Complex, 1st place, RPI of 28
10/19 (Thu) 4:30 pm at Richmond Richmond, VA, on ESPN+, tied for 12th place, RPI of 270
10/22 (Sun) 12 pm vs Dayton URI Soccer Complex, on ESPN+, tied for 2nd place, RPI of 55

Really need to get results against St. Bonaventure and Richmond down the stretch

Won at St Bonaventure 2-1
3 remaining including hosting at URI of 1st place St Louis 6-0-1 in A10 and 3rd place Dayton 5-0-3

We play at Richmond 1-6

With the win we're now tied for 6th with St. Joe's, 3 points ahead of Fordham for the last tournament spot. If tiebreakers come into play we tied with both teams, so not sure how that will work.

Current standings

The best the women can do is 4th, the worst they can do is tied for 8th. We're definitely in the conference tournament now, just not sure how the tiebreakers will work

We finished the season ties for 6th/7th with Saint Joseph's. We'll play at La Salle or Dayton on Friday or Saturday in the A10 tournament

We are officially seeded 7th and will play Friday at 7 at La Salle. The game should be on ESPN+

LaSalle just scored to go up 1-0 with 16 minutes remaining
