The article is basically “good coaching will lead to tournament appearances.”

Kind of stating the obvious lol

But good pub nonetheless.

The leadership needed goes higher than the head coach. Will Archie be here after a trip to the NCAAT? Then what? We've seen it all before.

Remember that if we win, the players will enter portal, if we lose the coach will tell the players to enter the portal.
With that being said.
If we win the coach will be leaving, if we lose the coach will be fired.
I guess its a no win situation.
That is the culture we need to change but as a STATE University with the highest paid STATE employee. Nothing will change.

The two highest paid state employees in Connecticut are Auriemma and Hurley

That is such crap. The percentage of "state" money in their paychecks is minuscule. There are janitors making more state money than those three.

Fluff piece. If he'd done ANY research, or knew ANYTHING, Jack Kraft was the first big name coach to take over the URI program. And he mentions Keaney Gym??? It's been a long time since a game was played there. While any pub is good, I suppose, this was mailed in.
