Question : Is it really true that if the Raptors do not convert Jeff's contract that he will be a restricted free agent after the season , but if they do convert his contract he becomes an unrestricted free agent after the season ? That sounds backwards that a team should benefit from not giving a player a
full NBA contract . Why would the Players Association accept such an anti player ,anti newcomer rule ? That almost sounds like an ironic joke .
