His rankings have to be heavily based on offensive efficiency and rebounding, hence why guys like Records and that UConn backup big are so highly ranked. Probably team success, too, since both their squads put up guady win-loss records.

Shit, you're right. I didn't realize he had paywalled his transfer rankings, and that rating is Pride's position in the ENTIRE player pool of D-I basketball players. I'll update the top post to reflect that.

i think losing Cooley is a massive loss. KIm English hasn’t proven a thing… They should have a good year next season but let’s see what happens once English has to build a team without the momentum of Cooley like Cox had too once we lost Dans players. I was high on English before this season but I thought he underachieved this season and I was not very impressed in a lot of the games I watched.

We’ll see…

Considering you have no insider knowledge on any recruiting I’ll go by the reports and the teams that are competing for him. We should just change the board to everyone has the same opinion and every move made by Archie and URI is a great one. If we are bad there are circumstances and bad luck. It is still very early in the process and I’m hoping that we get the shooters and PG they need to turn the program around. Everyone has their own way of viewing it. Pride has already visited. He’s still in contact with the staff and plans to do an official visit. But ya, according to you, he’s 100% not coming…Maybe something changes, as these kids change their minds all the time but we are still in the mix right now

You’re just being incredibly negative yet again because that’s your thing… We all know last year sucked. We all know the first class was weak for the most part. We all know Archie has a lot to prove with this next class and season. I still have faith in Archie, and I won’t find the negative in every move he makes as you do. I like our first two recruits and the players we are connected with. Until we see how this roster shakes out, im going to have some hope in our experienced and successful head coach, who’s only in his second freaking season…

The twitter report says "strong mutual interest" Well, if you are having an official visit, that alone would suggest "strong mutual interest". It's still a pretty vague comment.

I doubt he makes a decision before he makes his last three official visits. I really doubt this twitter report is anything more than guess work. And URI will still have a good chance, they'll be able to make a good impression and a closing argument before he decides.

Also some of these kids didn’t get that kind of treatment or attention as high school recruits. Xavier didn’t care about Pride as a high school senior. Now they do. I would soak it all up too in his shoes.

Someone stated "Leggett, please come back" That position/minutes, is still available. If we get Pride, the door is closed on Leggett. Not that I thought he was coming back, to be honest.

It's pretty much one or the other. THOSE two players, Pride and Leggett, cannot coexist on this team. Pride and Montgomery and House, can coexist.

Conversely, if we lose Pride to Loyola, maybe there is a glimmer that Leggett comes back.
