Pawtucket Soccer Stadium

I heard a story that said that the Laborers Union bought many season tickets for the proposed soccer team going to the New Pawtucket Soccer Stadium to make the project look more profitable than it is.
Did anyone else hear this?
Of course, you can get the Pawtucket/Central Falls votes if you supported such a stadium.

season ticket deposits don't necessarily translate to tickets sold.
especially when you don't have a place to play.

that almost sounds like sleazy back door politickery ...they don't do stuff like that around these parts, do they?
