Congrats on program's first ever postseason win

Congratulations to Tammi, staff, and players of the 2022-23 URI Women's Basketball team on the program's first ever postseason win. The Lady Rams had only previously appeared in postseason play twice - 1996 NCAA and 2022 WNIT. They lost their NCAA game to Oklahoma State 90-82 and the WNIT game to Quinnipiac 61-50. Last night's victory over Boston University 46-40 in a WNIT game at the Ryan Center was therefore the first time the ladies have won a postseason contest. Congratulations to all the members of the program. All your hard work and effort has paid off. May this be the first of many more postseason victories to come for the program.
