FYI URI ending support for my.uri.edu accounts very soon

FYI for those who still have emails or data in a my.uri.edu email or google drive, URI is going to delete your account very soon soon, according to the email tomorrow is the last day to save files from Google Drive and for emails, it should be operational for several more weeks.

As of now, reductions in total storage are required in order to meet the 1-1-2023 deadline. We will be targeting Google Drive contents but anticipate email will remain operational for possibly several more weeks except in cases of users who have extraordinary email storage. We urge you to examine your storage and download/migrate any crucial content immediately. This process will begin by targeting long dormant accounts, in other words, any account not accessed within the past year will be deleted first. Additional deletions will be conducted based on largest storage volume users first in order to meet our mandated target. Previous notices contain instructions links on how to accomplish this move.

Any files not transferred are currently scheduled for permanent deletion before December 31, 2022. Your URI Google drive files will not be retrievable after permanent deletion.
