I hope they make it realistic.
1. Give Blue shirts to fans on one side and White on the other.
2. Cheer leaders for both side.
3. Encourage fan participation: cheering, booing, heckling.
4. Get Zebras who make bad calls.
5. Sell lots of beer.
6. Have dumpsters outside filled with kindling.
7. Get these players ready for D1 basketball.
9. Set a standard for fan participation at future home games!
10. What a great marketing opportunity.
11. Make the national news.

Sometimes, you just need to know and watch the room a bit. We're still working on developing Keaney+, which will have some of the features you're looking for, along with exciting new programming like Arches for Archie - a documentary series that explores modern architecture and its relation to the URI head basketball coach.

So, it's great for us fans that we're having an open scrimmage. What about Rhody Madness for the students? Word is that there won't be one this year. Seems like a missed opportunity to promote student interest.

Just an incomprehensible set of replies here.

So no Rhody Madness? That’s a shame for the players, as they seem to like that kind of thing. Maybe they thought they wouldn’t get much student interest if they didn’t go all out with the music and everything. Not the biggest deal but I hope they put something together for next season.

Last year’s Blue-White Scrimmage was much earlier on Saturday October 9. This Scrimmage on October 29 is much closer to season start. Wonder if that is to make up to some extent for no Rhody Madness? Maybe they will try to make this more of a fun event. Last year’s Blue-White Scrimmage was lightly attended.

Guessing it's more likely to make up for the fact that we don't seem to have the traditional preseason exhibition game against a non-Division I school.

Yeah, that is surprising.
Even a charity exhibition game against UConn or Bryant would have been nice, like some mentioned below.

Doors at 3. I think they're giving out candy and stuff before the scrimmage. I think the scrimmage itself is at 4. At least that's the way I understand it.

Football game vs William & Mary is at 1:00 and will not end until 4-4:30. Why schedule the scrimmage to begin at 3:00 in conflict with the football game?

It’s a glorified practice why should we care they aren’t selling tickets. I would think unless it goes to the wire the Football game will be decided by 3:30-3:45. Let’s enjoy the game and a BB practice.

The game is at William & Mary
Just watch FloFootball on phone at the Ryan Center if it goes down to the wire. I’ve watched soccer games at the Ryan Center on my phone on ESPN+ just this past season while watching MBB and WBB games

Curious to see both team line-ups.
Also if Foumena even suits up.

Here is my guess:
Bray, Ish, Carey, Martin, Alex
Bassy, Weston, Louis (if he plays), Rory, Samb.

Say what you want about Rhody Vault’s tweets/reporting (I’m guilty of it too) but he seems to have accomplished what he set out to do, get former players more involved.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence we’re all of a sudden having formers greats around the program the season after RV started his account.

Gotta give credit where credit is due.

Agreed. This is his lane. Pick one thing and stick to it.

If he wants to become a "source" this is a good way to organically do that.

And I certainly agree that it's not a coincidence that we're seeing more of the old guard around this program in the time since he's brought the issue forward.
