Other A-10 schools such as UMass and St Bonaventure have changed their nicknames. UMass was once the Redmen with a native chief as mascot. SBU previously went by the moniker Brown Indians and had a native mascot.

One of the names I heard was Revolutionaries, which I liked, though I doubt that will get much traction. Generals was another one, though I would imagine there would be some copyright infringement issues there. I was thinking Revolutionaries. It's the only one that really makes sense to me.

Funny - the native americans I know felt like the Redskins and Indians name changes were further erasing their history and taking them out of the conversation completely - regardless of what today's wokest of woke deem "appropriate." Suzan Harjo is just the native american version of Al Sharpton - capitalizing on the disenfranchisement of her people and leveraging that to make herself wealthy while actually not contributing anything to the community itself, as it continues to delve further into poverty thanks to it's dependence on government subsidies. But yeah...changing the name! That helps people!

I do know that minorities LOVE when white people tell them how they're supposed to feel or what they're supposed to be offended by. They're so helpless without your white knighting to come and rescue them from the perceived injustice you're so well educated about!

I was probably worn out from all your CoVID talk with people having to wear masks at all the time including your car, omicron, Fauci and if anyone disagrees with anything they are wrong. I’m sure if inflation, high interest rates, gas prices and anything else was mentioned we would hear of the low unemployment that Biden has presented us with. I don’t care enough about the Colonials mascot, but it is funny how everyone is insulated on every topic or name now that was never mentioned for a 100 years.

But the thing is “everyone” isn’t insulted it’s just a very loud minority opinion - largely made up of NIMBY guilt ridden white folk. And it’s mostly an American thing. Europeans and others are laughing at some of the topics consuming American media these days. Truly the definition of first world problems.
