Re: FCS budgets
You’re correct. The school also kicked in $25M of the $60M raised for renovating the football stadium…Must be nice.Brian Forster wrote: ↑1 year ago https://herosports.com/fcs-programs-step-up-bzbz/

Re: FCS budgets
If those numbers are correct, that’s pretty damn good. Most schools lose money or in UConn’s case, run a $40M deficit.NYGFan_Section208 wrote: ↑1 year agoSo, Rhody sports netted a half mil last year?Brian Forster wrote: ↑1 year ago https://herosports.com/fcs-programs-step-up-bzbz/

Re: FCS budgets
I am not sure how accurate that is. I was looking for how much Rhody's budget is.
It was pulled off the internet.
Its shocking how far behind the budget is.

Re: FCS budgets
The athletic department should not be turning a profit. Kind of like the public rail system - it’s supposed to be a cost center that is an investment in quality of life for the community. I’d wager with the increased commitment to spending just in the basketball programs alone that we won’t be seeing a budget surplus from sports again any time soon, as it should be.FmrRamFB1 wrote: ↑1 year agoIf those numbers are correct, that’s pretty damn good.
