There is nothing more exciting then writing up a preview for some Rams v Rams action, as URI heads to the Bronx to take on Fordham. Oh boy. Let’s get pumped! With Rhody’s recent struggles, on the bright side…we are not Fordham. Fordham did turn some heads starting off conference play with 2 wins. Things corrected after that as they have lost their last 5 games. Rhody has a 3 game skid of their own, so someone has to win this game, right? Fordham is led by senior transfer from Youngstown St, Darius Quisenberry, who is averaging 17.7 & 4.3. Legit sixth year senior Chuba Ohams is a beast downlow, averaging a double-double (13.8 & 11.3). He is so old, he played in the infamous game where URI scored only 43 & lost at home to an awful Fordham team. This game I believe launched the ridiculous Baron 2.0 thread. (For historical purposes, after that game URI rattled off 9 straight wins including the A10 championship over VCU & beating Creighton in the 1st Round of the NCAA tournament.) Since Jared Terrell & Cyril Langevine aren’t walking through that door, let’s get back to this game. Ohams as well as the point guard for Fordham (Antonio Daye Jr) are turnover prone, both averaging over 3 per game. Hopefully they can generate some easy baskets after some forced turnovers. Since nothing comes easy for this team, I am going to say that is unlikely. Rhody will probably be favored by about 2 on the road. My money is on the Rams in this one...the ones in Keaney Blue. URI 67 – Fordham 63. Go Rhody!!

I think that would be the only way they would have a chance at VCU and our homestand against Davidson and Dayton.

Otherwise, I feel mentally they have checked out and Cox has lost them.
