I was a senior in high school when he became the starting QB in 2001. Brady has been a starting NFL QB for more than half my life.

He was pretty good.
Jk, of course...he's one of the few guys that probly should have been put in the HOF before he even retired....never mind the silly waiting period.

There's speculation that he's pissed that ESPN leaked the announcement or got the scoop, instead of letting him make a major media event out of it. Instead, it dropped on a weekend and he couldn't steer people toward some website or media project controlled by him.
