……..here we go again…….local media listing has this game listed for B101.5……..either 530 or 730……assuming we would be the JV slot……loss here and it’s gets ugly around here…….any spread scene?

If Cox is serious about “reclaiming the culture” then this is a game URI needs to win.

A loss today and it will be getting dire early on.

What exactly is the culture? Part of it is playing tough defense for 40 minutes, not 25-30 minutes. Part of it is not giving up with a minute left and down by six. Part of it should be taking players out after repeating the same mistake. None of these things happened yesterday.

Tough to beat a team twice in such a short span of time. My thinking is that Rhody loses the rematch. If so, Daytona Beach will have been a brutal two days.

I know this will come as a shock to people, but when URI plays lousy defense, we tend to lose. If Cox is actually going to "reclaim the culture" then it needs to begin on the defensive end.

URI is now 4-16 in the Cox era when opponents shoot at least 45% from the field, including 0-9 in the last three years.

URI is 9-22 in the Cox era when opponents score at least 75 points, including 2-8 in the last two years.

Tulsa shot 49% and scored 77 points.

I still very much believe in this team. I really want to see Leggett and Sheppard take a little more ownership of the offense. The Mitchell’s have been awesome this year, but we can all agree the turnovers are holding us back. Excited to see if that happens a little more this game

Some substitution is fine, but at one point, they didn't have a single starter on the floor and BC had mostly starters and then their starting 5, taking advantage.
