Thanks. Has anyone heard whether URI will have tickets for sale for any of the Florida games? I'm planning on going to all three.

Thanks. Has anyone heard whether URI will have tickets for sale for any of the Florida games? I'm planning on going to all three.

I had asked, but they did not have the answers yet, so I grabbed front rows when they went on sale yesterday.

That game is not in Daytona. URI will play Bryant at the Ryan Center - but it is a game connected to the Sunshine Slam.

Usually these Holiday Tournaments are lightly attended. I remember the last Daytona Tournament for URI and it was light on attendance.

All 4 teams will likely not travel well to this tournament.

Schedule is:

Saturday November 20
5pm - Utah vs Boston College
7:30pm - URI vs Tulsa

Sunday November 21
5pm - Loser Utah - BC vs Loser URI - Tulsa
7:30pm - Winner Utah - BC vs Winner URI - Tulsa

URI will then travel to Fort Myers Alico Arena for a OOC Game:
Tuesday November 23
7pm URI @ Florida Gulf Coast

Travel Back to RI will be busy airports as Thanksgiving is November 25

We were going to book there as well, but are waiting on word as to the "Official Hotel" for Sunshine Slam. I am told that they haven't assigned a particular hotel yet, which is odd!

National Adoption Day is November 20, 2021 this year so I am committed to that day to be in court....it prevents me from getting to the Daytona tournament

Will be down in Florida for the Florida Gulf Coast game....and then flying through Virginia on the way home and will attend the Women's game at Virginia.....

…….depending on your itinerary, the Dayton’s Speedway behind the scenes tour is good take, recommendation on a restaurant/beach bar atmosphere is Riptides, right on main drag, north Daytona Beach city limits…….FWIW…….Go Rhody

The Utah/BC game is at 5:00 which I wouldn't mind watching. I think that interferes with the reception time.

The tickets allow admission to the entire venue that day.

Bad loss to Air Force 59-58, but rebounded with win against Oregon State 64-58.
Jeriah Horne (F) is their top player averaging 20 pts/ 8 rebs.

Very excited for this game. My son and I will be attending our first Rhody game since the final Ryan Center game in March 2019. We moved to Tampa in July 2019 and we get 3 Ram games in the state of Florida in 4 days, with a Monday Night Football Bucs game thrown in the middle of them. Go Rhody!
