Aaron Boone has one foot out the door as Yankee manager.
I was never a big fan of the hire in the first place.
He has been way too loyal to some big non-producers since he was hired, especially Sanchez.
I know it's still early, but the team can't hit with runners in scoring position, and even the bullpen has sprung too many leaks.
Also the starting pitching is too reliant on guys who have had recurring injury issues. Cole can't pitch every game.
The Rays have owned them too. The Red Sox have been a surprise to this point, but they will fade later on.
Boone might not last the season...if they miss the playoffs he's gone for sure.
Too many non contact hitters with runners on has been a problem for years, and it's not getting any better.

The Yankees also have too many big contracts which keeps them from having enough quality depth.
They got away with it the last couple of years, what with all the injuries, but it's catching up to them.
A team that hits 300 HR's a season, but strikes out a million times, plus can't hit a single in the clutch, will not win a World Series.
For some reason Cashman and co. can't figure this out.
