Just one of the many kids who have too many handlers around them telling the kid he’s gods gift to earth and a future NBA star.

He could come here to replace Bilau next year.

He played 16 minutes in three games this year, and the team is 8-10, 0-5 in conference play. If he couldn't get minutes right away there, hard to imagine him staying with a power conference team. Then again, 7'1" is 7'1", so I could see just about any college team taking a shot on him, or him going pro and landing with some sort of team somewhere. (Probably not NBA at this point, but some domestic or foreign league.)

I’d take a flyer on him if we end up having room and considering the questions around Big Jo B. Perhaps some home cooking will do him good.

His height is compelling for sure. I wonder how many and what type of programs will be pressing for him to join their program?

Personally, I would prefer a beefier big. Jeremy gives us a player that I imagine is more like IM. I think adding a hefty big, more like Joe, gives the team more options. Of course, I wouldn't pass on him, I just wouldn't prioritize him. And by the sound of Archie's interview, I wouldn't be surprised if Joe's playing days are over. I don't expect him to return.

I haven't read through everything, but there isn't any discuss of him coming here, is there?
Didn't I read that he was leaving to pursue professional opportunities?

I don’t know, Bos8. I just jumped in to discuss it from a hypothetical perspective. I think others did too.

That article referred to him as “the California native”.
