Updated with his new offers - He's up to 21, and also took an unofficial visit to Ohio State. From March, him vs. another prominent prospect:

It'd be nice, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Obviously a TJ recruit. It seems that all of our recruits/transfers lately have a DC connection.

This topic has been inactive a little while…Been searching around for recruits. Came across Malik. Looks like he joined the 2,000 point club at his high school. Doesn’t seem to be drawing overwhelming attention according to this article.

Wonder what our involvement is. Either way, hope this kid does well. Decent read.

He mentions Boston College and Oakland in that article, which... is certainly a wide gap between conferences, school location and a bunch of other factors. Neither was in his Top 7 from 2022, and it seems like his stock has massively cooled for some reason. (Academic issues? Not developing like teams thought? Some kind of injury? No clue.) Earlier in the thread, it was mentioned that he was a T.J. Buchanan recruit, which probably means we aren't involved anymore.
