I'm thinking Davidson vs St Louis in the Finals with Davidson winning out.

Davidson has won 7 of their last 9 games with both losses being to St Bonaventure. If Davidson gets by VCU, which I believe they will, I don't see Bob McKillop losing to St Bonaventure again, or lose to St Louis.

At any rate, the 4 best teams are in the Final 4 of the A10 - should be fun to watch.

Davidson completely dominated George Mason yesterday
They have such good 3P Shooting in Grady 40%, Lee 44% and Collins 39%
Excellent passing team, good help-out defensive play and solid rebounding.
Excellent height and strength:
  • Mennenga 6'9" 245 lbs - FRESHMAN - Auckland New Zealand
  • Brajkovic 6'10" 250 lbs - JUNIOR - Feldkirch Austria
  • Lee 6'7" 210 lbs - SOPHOMORE - Kong Ju City South Korea
  • Grady 6'5" 205 lbs - SENIOR - Boston MA
  • Collins 6'3" 190 lbs - SENIOR - Chapel Hill NC

ramster, you mean that Davidson is everything we're not? You left out very well coached. Getting better late in seasons.

I love watching college BB games where teams such as Davidson run a cohesive half court offense....everyone moving, good spacing, etc.

And then there's us....the human statues.

Rambone,

Coaching for sure. But it's more than Coaching on the floor. I added to my list above where his players are from. People could say why would a player want to go to little Davidson NC?
McKillop has New Zealand, South Korea, Austria, North Carolina and Boston in his starting line up. Shortest player is 6'3". The rest are 6'5", 6'7", 6'9" and 6'10" and these guys are strong.

In addition he has a good mix of experience with 2 Seniors, 1 Junior, 1 Sophomore and 1 Freshman in the starting line up.

In addition he has players from Denmark, Sweden and England.

Think BIG, think Internationally.

McKillop knows what he is doing in X's and O's, recruiting, balancing a roster, emphasizing shooting/passing/defense and keeping players from transferring. He is not looking to have players transfer whereas we have a revolving door.

The Bonnies probably just punched their ticket with the win over St. Louis.
SLU may now be on the outside of the bubble.
Davidson may be our only hope of getting 3 teams in, if they win out.

The Bonnies will return their entire team, no seniors on the roster.
They can be scary good next year, maybe Schmidt decides to stay.

Having a really good coach makes all the difference in college BB.

Penders, Harrick, Kraft, Hurley. And to some extent Al.

And then look at the others over the last 40+ years.

Night and day.

Want to be good again, if even for a little while?

Need another home run hire.

Love to see Duke get waxed by NC.

Right now they are out.

With Nova's injury issues, I can see UConn winning the BE tourney.

Duke misses the NCAA tourney on average once or twice every 20 years or so.

We make it about that often.

As badly as things went for Rhody this year, it could be worse. You could be an Arizona St fan. Started as a top twenty team and has had a miserable season: near the bottom of the PAC 12.
Given today’s 39 point shellacking by below .500 Utah, it appears they have mailed in the rest of the season.

How exactly do you explain that kind of a loss? It's a good thing his last name isn't Cox.

One bad season after what would’ve been 3 tournaments in a row with a coach whos taken 2 teams to the dance.

I think they can understand an anomaly. Give me that situation instead of ours every day of the week.
If you say you’re a Rhody fan, I know you are my brother. For you have suffered as I have suffered.

Give to the Athletic Director's Fund

UConn beat Georgetown yesterday 98-82 for their Senior Day. Dan got career win #200- nice of the guys to make it a blowout so Andrew could get in at the end. They’ll face either DePaul or Providence on Thursday in their first game of the conference tournament.

Agreed. Still, their fan base has to be upset at this season’s result, after what most experts thought about them pre season.
They certainly don’t have a problem with resources.

Memphis with the three to tie at 1.7 seconds and then Houston with the miracle half court shot. I woke my wife from a nap with my reaction

Lappas mentioned that he wouldn’t foul with 1.7 left cuz too much chance it would be in the act of shooting , devastating way to lose for them

They were playing so tight on d that the Memphis player could have wrapped up the Houston player as soon as he caught it before shooting. I know it's arm chair quarterbacking based on the result of an almost half court shot going in, but when your tournament berth is on the line, you leave nothing up to chance.

Agree that’s the proper play just have to make 100 % sure it’s not in the act of shooting
