What impressed me the most in his highlight video was his ability to contort his body, so that he squares up to the basket at the last possible moment before releasing his shot while either leaning to one side or fading away or both, while jumping. That takes some kind of athleticism and focus. Oh yeah, and he hit the shot.

For me it would depend if Fatts comes back. If he’s back, I’d rather have Ellis for the age/experience and try to max out 2020-21.

At the end of the day either one, but I'm with TP. He would have a more immediate help With or without Fatts.

To keep pace with the big time schools we gotta max out next year as much as we can and make the tournament.

Ellis is here for 2 years. If Murray is really good, he might leave after 1 year. Is it crazy that we have to start considering this as a factor?

I'm not sure if we should - Martin was good to pretty good, depending on your perspective, but I don't think if he was a guarantee to make an All-A10 team before graduation. If we lose *that* kind of player early, then I'd start to worry more about this transfer rule.

When McGowens committed to Nebraska instead of Alabama yesterday, I figured Ellis would then go to Alabama. Makes sense since he's announcing the next day.

This is a good point. Think of the recruits that announce a commitment to URI that hadn’t been the focus of reports or speculation. Cox keeps the staff’s actions private.

I’ve never seen so much speculation and leaks in the URI recruiting process as these last two years.
