Trouble Logging Into KeaneyBlue?

Unread post by TruePoint »

I keep getting signed out every time I come back to the site. It’s been going on all day. I don’t really get it because I’ve been signed in for like 7 straight years.

Anyone else having an issue? Any tech people who could tell me if something might be causing it on my end?

Update your bookmarks from HTTP to HTTPS. I did that, and it seemed to fix the problem.

Yesterday and this morning I couldn't login in at all. Didn't recognize my creds, but no error or anything - it was like I never entered anything. Changing to HTTPS worked for me.

... and today, HTTPS didn't work for me, so I had to switch to HTTP. Not sure what the issue is, since I'm not really a tech guy.

I changed Setting related to cookies and HTTPS. I put it back the way it was even if that’s probably not correct. We’ll see if it’s better starting now.

Make sure you delete cookies for this site in Firefox. Thats why your usual browser isnt working but a different one is. I was having the same problem, but the opposite, not working in my usual browser Chrome but working in Firefox and Safari because I never use them. Clearing cookies fixed it.

Give this a shot. There is also a link in the bottom right corner of the site that deletes cookies.

Firefox: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/del ... ingle-site
Click Firefox button or Tools menu, then click Options
Select Privacy panel
Set Firefox will: to “Use custom settings for history”
Click Show Cookies
In the search field, type the name of the site whose cookies you want to remove.
Select the cookie in the list to remove and click “Remove Cookie”
Click “Close”

It’s definitely a browser specific thing related to cookies.

Here are the directions if you’re using chrome

Delete specific cookies
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More Settings.
At the bottom, click Advanced.
Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
Click Cookies See all cookies and site data.
At the top right, search for the website's name.
To the right of the site, click Remove .

Https allowed me to sign in although I had to keep re-entering my creds every time. Deleting cookies at the bottom of this page allowed me to remain signed in.

Which is tres interesante since....every time I delete cookies...it logs me out.
Says, "cookies deleted", I click that box off and boom, back to the front page - not signed in.

The https helped at first, but since then it's been very hit or miss.

Deleting cookies will log you out - what I meant was after logging back in once after deleting cookies, I didn't have to relogin every time.

Finally got back in. All I had to do was send an email to my AOL account from 1994, reply to my rocketmail address from 1997, use the AskJeeves search from 1999, and stand on my head and count to 12 backwards in Spanish. Easy peasy!
