One of the thing I miss most about having WBRU as a preset on the radio is the expsosure to local tunes, especially when they mention Rhode Island landmarks. WBRU had that perfect mix of mixing old favorites like the Chilli Peppers, DMB, Nirvana, while throwing in new music to discover. While there is the BRU thread, I'd like to discover some new local music from my fellow Ram fans

Back in my URI days, I used to love to jam to Someday Providence, from Warwick. Kinda locally famous for there Summertime in Rhode Island hit, I also would jam out to their lesser known song All the Times You Failed
Another band I am still fond of is Kingston 530, formed at URI when I was a student there:
One of their songs I love is 95, which I love jamming to on if I'm on 95 on say a Sunday morning
