I just think people are hypocritical on this. If people heard that a “cartel” team was doing this, they wouldn’t be saying “poor old ___,” but rather “you get what you deserve.” None of us can even begin to estimate the impact landing a recruit like Wiseman could give to Memphis, but Hardaway got a major leg up on the recruitment.

Alabama might be the school with the most to gain -- or lose -- during the early signing period. Nate Oats has taken big swings since taking over in Tuscaloosa, extending offers to multiple five-star prospects last spring. And while he's missed on a few, three of his top targets are set to make decisions in the next week. Five-star guard Nimari Burnett announces on Tuesday; he has been in Alabama's crosshairs for months, and the Crimson Tide have been near the top of his list. On Saturday, five-star forward Isaiah Jackson makes his announcement. Oats has strong ties to Jackson from his days in Michigan. And then on Sunday, it's Keon Ambrose, with whom the Crimson Tide have picked up momentum. Landing two of the three would be huge for Oats, while going 0-for-3 would cause the Tide to go back to the drawing board in 2020.

Starting to think this league isn’t as good as we thought it would. Davidson has TEP top tier players back and they are getting beat up by Charlotte? Their lack of athleticism seems to kill them against better teams if they aren’t shooting 50+% from 3 pt range

UMass and Duquesne started out strong last year...and look where they ended up.

I think both will be better this year, but not top 4....5th and 6th is possible with Bonnies and Richmond looking like crap.

I agree with Davidson finding their shooting touch come A10 play.....but yeah this league is already a disappointment.

Nicholls St beat Pitt, lost to Illinois in OT, and had a halftime lead on LSU before letting it slip away to lose by 10. I hope the Rams and Rhody Nation do not underestimate Nicholls St. I know I looked at the name and thought ‘cupcake’, until I watched some of their game vs LSU.
