As of now, there is no official word that Fleming is signed after this season, so even if he doesn't come back it wouldn't be a true firing, it would just be not bringing him back when his contract runs out. There was speculation that he's agreed to a three year deal sometime between the end of summer camp and now, but I don't see how they could or would agree to a contract extension and not announce it. If he did agree to that contract extension he'll be back pretty much no matter what. There's no way we'll eat three years on a just signed deal

They went got one 4th down with ball on their own 33. They made it but that is insane. Early 2nd quarter. Nobody does that.

I know they made it but that does not make it smart coaching - a lot of luck involved. Going for it on their own 33 early in the second quarter is crazy gambling. Imagine if Fleming did that?
Brown fans themselves were calling it desperation - like taking chances like that was their only chance.

They just made another 4th and 8 as I speak.

Brown just missed their 2nd field goal attempt.
Going for it on your own 33 early in 2nd quarter is dumb. If analytics were the key they why are having to try for it on so many 4th downs in the first place?
