8/29/2019 Bryant LaValle Stadium - Stony Brook, N.Y. W (35-10)
9/7/2019 at Utah State Maverick Stadium - Logan, Utah L (7-62)
9/14/2019 Wagner LaValle Stadium - Stony Brook, N.Y. W (26-10)
9/21/2019 Fordham LaValle Stadium - Stony Brook, N.Y. W (45-10)

All 3 of Stony Brook’s wins have been at home and all 3 held opponent to 10 points

Lost badly AT FBS Utah State

This Saturday’s game is 7pm at Kingston. Will be a very tough game to win. Stony Brook’s players always seem to be bigger on average than our players, especially the linemen.

Seems like over the last couple years Stony Brook has been a physical defensive team and a power running team. Not necessarily the best matchup for Rhody based on what we have seen thus far.

Absolutely right. We are going to discuss it on the podcast this week, but Stony Brook loves to run.

Last year when Rhody played @ Stony Brook, the Seawolves ran for 354 net rushing yards. Their two main RBs both went over 100 yards (neither with the team this year).

This season so far, Stony Brook is averaging 247 rushing yards per game. Their QB isn't afraid to run either.

My experience with Stony Brook is when I first see their players coming out of the locker room at Meade Field and I say “Holy $#&%!!!!!
Their offensive and defensive linemen are monstrous.
I see Stony Brook as a very difficult win, always do.

There needs to be accountability for losing.....it's been way too long accepting the status quo of sucking.

If URI is to have a football program, it should be a winning program, just like the basketball program.

Peter,Vito is the 3rd ranked passer in yards per game in FCS.
That’s out of approx. 125. He is on track for 4000 yards. He can put the ball on a dime.
He is maybe best thrower I have seen at Rhody since Tom Ehrhardt.

Stony Brooks’ wins have come against Bryant, Wagner and Fordham. I hope in the future our early schedule can more resemble what their’s has looked like. I don’t know how anyone could be convinced that SB is good at this point based on who they’ve played, though.

I went to the Delaware game. Bought seats in the West. Actually pretty nice. Field looks awesome. Uniforms look awesome. It was a great game.

I’m going to tonight’s game. After seeing the Delaware game and reading game summaries and stats from the Ohio and New Hampshire games, I’m concerned about them Rhody defense getting gashed on the ground.

Jajaun was great for limited part of one season.
The Rams are 0-3. They did not learn anything from the Ohio loss that’s apparent.

They’re out of TOS, so KEEP THEM IN FRONT OF YOU. They will take a shot if they get to 1st down because it’s going to be tough for them to get their FG team on the field.
