Dwayne Scott Transfers to Boston College

Losing a three year starter is never good :/

Dont blame him for the move, but that'll hurt our continuity for sure.

Damn. OL was definitely going to be a strength. The returning players had 87 starts among them. Now you can subtract 32 from that. There is some depth there, however, if a freshmen or sophomore can step up.

Rhody has plenty of O lineman.
Other good ones transferred up-Catalina,Steinmetz and Boyd and record improved.
The disappointing thing about this is he is a captain?

It's like being Fordham in basketball. You take a shot with a kid that the big schools don't want, you help develop them and then they leave.

The other thing is Rhody plays a dynamite schedule this year.
Ohio and VaTech look to be very tough.
add in CAA.
This happened after spring ball also?
BC must not have liked their options and Scott has to have some guarantee?
BC has three transfer O lineman I think. Two via FCS.

Yeah he could've proved himself against two FBS foes and we have one of the toughest schedules in FCS.

Scott Redshirted one year at URI and he graduated from URI. He is going to BC for his Masters and to play in the ACC

Can’t blame him, similar to some other offensive linemen recently

The most unfortunate part of this is the timing being July and season about to start. BC must have had some urgent needs

Maybe there should be a time deadline for transferring?

Strange for URI players and Coaches to lose a 3 year starter and Co-Captain in July and also strange for BC to get a potential starter so Late.

BC hosts Virginia Tech next month on August 31.
