Ish leggett had a good game against morgan park from chicago where they got the win. Best player for morgan park is adam miller committed to illinois. Leggett played some good defense down the stretch of the game against miller. Leggett finished 22 points overall with 20 points in 2h. Had only 2 points in 1h with two quick foul calls. He scored the ball at all three levels driving to the hoop...midrange floaters and jumpers and had a couple threes in the game too. Good ft shooting night as well. I like what I see from this kid seems to be really playing alot more aggressive offensively then past years.

Yeah without a doubt his stocks rising. Career progresstion or development similar to jeff dowtin I can foresee. Little slow early but handles his own faster then most freshman especially at pg and well within the rotation. Really smart bball player.

Yeah versus an illinois committ playing defense on him at times. I streamed it on stadium site. He scored at will when his team needed it.

I admit that I am less well versed on the current 2020 commits than any class we’ve had since Dan came to town. Just haven’t had the time to dive all the way in. And really, the attention I have paid was to Elijah’s various travels around the high school basketball world more so than either guy as a player. But I have to say, just based on the admittedly little I know, it seems like this kid could end up being a huge get. He is having a great senior year.

ISH first half was not as efficient as he was in the last game. But leads all scorers in 1H with 12 points. 1-4 from 3...3-8 from 2 and 5-6 from ft. Rhody83 did you have trouble with the stadium stream at the end of the 1h?

Really impressed with his freshman teammate 6'5" Amani Hansberry. Plays down low. He has interest from rhody and virginia tech and I am sure others. Really good post moves and patient. PLaying much older then he is. had 19 pts....11 reb..8-13 fg. Hansberry at times was dominating the foward for Baltimore poly committed to Marquette 6 foot 7 Justin lewis

yeah 3-5 from 3 on the game. He has really worked on that 3 pointer over the summer. You can tell he is confident in it and really becoming a shooter to compliment his go to of attacking the rim and slashing the lane.

Agree about Ishmael. The one thing I thought he was lacking was a consistent shot, but it looks like that is vastly improved. Everything else about his game was very good, especially his ability to get to the basket and finish at his size. He should be a good one at Rhode Island.

In looking at that box score, Andre Curbelo, the top 100 kid going to Illinois, had 8 assists and 9 turnovers. That is an amazing stat line, to have that many assists and that many turnovers in the same high school game. Not sure I have ever seen that before.

Max Preps has Paul VI ranked 13th in the country if you wondering what the depth is of the DC Area high school teams. They have St Johns 19th and Dematha 7th. Dematha and St Johns play tonight in a big showdown. St Frances in Baltimore is also ranked 22nd in the country.

nice footage. Ish didn't seem intimidated driving into the lane with Hunter there and looking at the box score he had 22 points with 2 3's on 4/6 from the line.

Dematha also has Earl Timberlake (top 40 recruit going to Miami) who had 24 points - Hunter had 16.
