Being reported that Goanar Mar is out with a broken foot. 6-7 So. Forward. Averaged 23 minutes a game. Isn't a scorer but may impact their defense and depth

-Honestly, I haven't seen them enough to guarantee I would've missed him, but you have to feel bad for the kid. #humansideofthestory
-Love the uniforms. New last year maybe? The ones with the checked (not sure what you call that) borders - both home and away.

Mar’s numbers haven’t been as strong as last year when, as a freshman, he averaged 10 and 4, but he’s started every game but one for them since he stepped on campus. That’s a significant loss for them.

Will be interesting to see if there is an impact tomorrow on attendance due to the NE Patriots playoff game vs the Chargers at 1pm. I had thought the Pats-Jets game two weeks ago would affect the Middle Tenn State crowd. That game was a 5pm start (Pats game kicked off at 1pm) competing with a same day Pats regular season finale during semester break yet had the biggest Ryan Center crowd of the season with 6,382 on hand. That game was part of the five game mini pack and also offered family and be a student ($10.00 for endzone tickets) promos as is the case tomorrow with GMU. The 1pm game back in December versus West Virginia at Mohegan Sun was also a Sunday with a Patriots game (4:25pm versus Pittsburgh) and still drew a decent 5,812.

Hope the snow in South Jersey doesn't impact my drive up for this game tomorrow morning . Very important to get off to a good
start at home for conference play . would like to see an impact game from Harris.

URI-GMU series

The Nov 11 2011 game listed above has an error. It was an away game at the Patriot Center and part of the three game OOC series where URI played two games in Fairfax to one Ryan Center game. URI is actually 3-1 at home vs GMU and 2-2 away.

The mini plans may be listed as sold out only because some of the games in them are already in the books.

Not a Pats fan so I wont feel bad missing the second half or so depending on when we leave but the mrs. and i will be there. I'm to cheap (and broke atm) to pass up the be a student deal!

With GMU losing a starting forward, they may be playing a four guard lineup. This might be the game to really push the ball inside to Cyril and Jermaine.

I'm starting to think he's got a serious injury that's affecting his play.

I’ve seen enough of Preston and Thompson. Maybe for the season. If we need them to eat minutes, fine. But no upside and no value add. Preston especially can just put the warm ups back on and never take them off.
