wow, what a cheap shot! I'm sure some of you saw this on some social media outlets. I caught it on Barstool

If you watch more of thje video, kid who got hit eventually gets up, brushes it off like a champ and hits his two free throws

"The Fitchburg State community is appalled by the conduct displayed during Tuesday night's home basketball game. The player involved has been indefinitely suspended from the team and barred from campus, effective immediately," the university said in a statement.

Obviously it doesn't excuse the kid's actions but gives you an idea of the type of household he may have grown up in.

yeah, thats the kids dad. In his bio on Fitchburg State mens team, it lists Robert Platt as his dad. Fitchburg i think has since removed the kids bio/info

Real winner it sounds like his Dad is. The kid is 1000% in the wrong here and the other player is lucky he did not get seriously hurt, but the kid prob needs to go to counseling/anger management/therapy, you name it. Those are all signs he was being raised in a broken home with a POS father
