UConn is on TV later tonight (10:15 on ESPNU) at Boise State. They are going to get absolutely stomped and then have to travel back from freaking Idaho (so they will probably be back sometime on Tuesday, I’d guess?).

I’m not guaranteeing a win next week by any means, but I honestly wouldn’t be stunned. This URI team is much better than other recent Rhody football teams, and UConn is FBS in name only. They’re nowhere near as good as Central Michigan was last year.

UCONN down 41-0 at half. Comical. Boise lines up to kick a FG with 6 seconds left in half. UCONN calls TO as kicker misses. He hits the second try.

Really excited for the line to come out. I have no clue what it will be. UConn will obviously be favored at home, but by how much? Before the season I thought it would be easily 20+. But now...could be around 10-14...who knows

UCONN lost to #20 Ranked Boise State 62-7
Pindell was 11-21 for 71 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT and a Quarterback Ranking of 6.5

Hurricane Florence will be interesting to track this week - could very well impact this game

Seems right. They just played two ranked FBS teams, #21 UCF and @ #20 Boise St. so I wouldn't look into their final scores toooo much. Go Rams.

This has been one case where reading the boneyard has been fun

A fast start is key here. They're a young team that's been getting beat down, start fast and what little crowd there will be will either go silent or turn and the players doubts will go through the roof. Let them feel good early and they'll be able to put the last two weeks behind them.

Opening and winning at Delaware is key. That was a more hostel environment than we should see this weekend. If we could win there, why not at UConn?

Yes, you just have to use a VPN scrambler to change your location to the US. There's a bunch've free ones online, pretty easy to setup and use.

When you consider the size of the stadium, the amount of those distributed that won't show, and the Rhody fans making the trip, this shouldn't be a difficult home field advantage for us to fight

If they can contain the UConn QB Rhody has a great chance to win. I can't see how the UConn defense is going to shut down the Rhody Offense. Lawson is too poised and he has too many weapons for UConn to stop him and his multiple targets. I'm not really surprised about the size of the crowd, none of the UConn faithful want to see them lose to Rhody and they must think that a upset is definitely a possibility! Go Rhody!!!!!!!

Note how UConn no longer uses the term "has sold" so many tickets. It now uses the term "distributed" so many tickets. From what I have read, a large number of tickets to UConn football games in recent years have been given away for free and the school has decided to start using new phrasing to avoid being called out by the media.

Half the crowd might be Rhody.

Even if their team is bad I feel like they'd wanna come out for an old rivalry because it would be fun.

If there's an FBS team we can beat its this one.
Uconn with better teams than this one could barely beat FCS teams in years past.

We can probably put a lot of pressure on them through the air. Our receivers are all good and big. They can make big plays and that can really put uconn on their heels.
We cant go back to tentative Rhody football. These pups' pride is wounded and we have confidence so let's Ram them.

Isn't Uconn the last FBS team URI beat? I think the Rams beat the Huskies in their first year of 2000 as an FBS team transitioning over from FCS.

We did everything but stop them.

I don't know how three guys weren't able to take down that uconn running back on 4th and 1.
One of them was just trying to rip the ball out instead of bringing him down.

Interception makes it a two TD game.
