The last three years, VCU has had great traveling fan support to the A10T. I would expect them to show up and be loud and jacked up tomorrow.RhowdyRam02 wrote:Yeah but playing away from a jacked up Siegal Center will also make a difference
I'm sure they will be, and I'm sure they will outnumber our fans greatly, but will they have 7500 fans cheering them on? And I'm sure we'll have more than the 100 or so that we had for the first game. I just don't see how a mostly empty building with a more even split can replicate the crowd we faced the first timeNYGFan_Section208 wrote:The last three years, VCU has had great traveling fan support to the A10T. good...put that chip back on their shoulder. they play so much better when they're hungry and feel they have something to prove.RF1 wrote:adam914 wrote:
In some respects, I agree with EC. Have you ever seen less pre tourney respect and talk for a team that was its league's #1 seed wrapping up that position with one week left in the season after having led the standings from Day 1? The only team in the league that was currently nationally ranked (along with being the only member ranked at all throughout the year) heading into its tournament? URI has not gotten a lot of buzz in the past week with regards to the league awards and tourney prospects. For a team with its credentials, it has seemed to be a bit under the radar in the last week.

Its been wild. All of a sudden I see everywhere how good bonas is, how RI is slipping and not a threat to anyone. Its like the entire good part was invalid since they lost 2 times lolRF1 wrote:adam914 wrote:

among the other A10 schools? yeah, we are definitely hated.NYGFan_Section208 wrote:^ Really? "Hated team"? seems you need to invest energy to hate...does everyone else really care enough to 'hate URI'?
Maybe that's accurate...but it sounds like raging paranoia?
Bonnies have won 12 straight and we've lost 3 of our last 5. We can turn things around starting today but right now Bonnies definitely look like the hotter team.rhodysurf wrote:Its been wild.
