As BAR will be able to explain better than I can, this has to be about trying to capitalize on this team's success by establishing brand equity. The ads are less about trying to sell a particular thing (a ticket to a game) and more about trying to seize the moment and win hearts and minds. At least that's my layperson interpretation.
