Man we are simply playing like shit. Offensively and defensively. Especially defensively. No focus and worse, lacking hustle. We can't stop the ball penetration at all. And we need to stop taking jump shots.

This defensive approach of chasing them all over the court is getting us killed. It better work to tire them out, because if it doesn't this is a blowout. It definitely feels like we are being outcoached and playing right into their hands. Should be packing it in, closing up the paint and making them hit from the perimeter to beat us. The way they are spreading us out, they're getting everything easy at the basket.

That was quick and needed. 12-0 run. Tied game.

terrible start--solid finish--come out like gangbusters second half

First half observations...

- Since when do we get outhustled for loose balls? Finally got our act together after the 8 min timeout.

- Our usual excellent perimeter D was nowhere to be seen for the first 12 minutes, which led to a ton of deep drives for easy looks or quality shots.

- Then LaSalle did what bad teams do, regressed into an offense that we're better suited to defend. The drive and kick was killing us.

- They scored (easily) on 7 straight possessions at one point.

- Seems to be a level of complacency on offense at times. Almost like everyone is waiting for someone else to step-up (before Jared and EC did) So it's leading to either a bad shot or an unnecessary pass.

- It's a combination of LaSalle making a few tough shots to go along with super easy looks.

- In a game like this when you're down early on the road you gotta keep taking it to the bucket. Just like EC and Stan did back to back to get our run started which we kept doing. Glad we didn't just decide to start chucking 3's.

- Saw nice things on the offensive side from Jeff with his mid range game. Gonna need that next year.

- Great leadership from EC and JT to turn this game around. Both ends of the floor. Gotta carry that over to 2nd half.

- Jared is

La Salle came out crazy, but you could see they were already gassed at the half. That's about it folks.

Cyril is the key... Altered or blocked numerous shots... Berry is struggling more and more in D...if guards are going to get beat need the eraser at the rim. Allowed 7 pts last 7 minutes.. Keep up the defensive intensity.. What happened to sharing the ball on offense??

It seemed to me like right around the time I complained about this, they started sagging some help into the paint to contest all those shots at the rim. Didn't totally shut it down but I thought it helped. All we needed was slow that down a little bit to give our scorers a chance to get back in the game, and they did.

Getting out rebounded 20 to 12 at the half. Johnson has nine by himself.

This team just needs to be taken down. They were up 12 against the #18 team and the place was a church. All I could hear was "DEFENSE" when La Salle had the ball. Let's come out in the second half, take control and go home to clinch the regular season title.

They know we are playing man and they have a great game plan to get easy buckets. Spread us out and have their fast guards attack the rim off the dribble. We need to make an adjustment defensively. This is why we have to switch up our D occasionally just to keep teams honest. When you only play man then a good coach will have a game plan to overcome it. Being predictable is a problem. They are packing in the paint which is making it difficult for our guards to get to the rim. Too many jumpers for us so far. The second half is ours. Go Rhody!
