Hopefully there are a lot of fans there wearing keaney blue this Tuesday to cheer the Rams. I would think Fatts will have a lot of family and friends there. There are also a good number of URI fans in the Philly/Jersey area. LaSalle does not typically draw well, averaging just 1,961 through 12 games. They had one of their bigger crowds (2,891) of the season this past Saturday for GMU. They however had just 1,312 for their most recent weeknight game last Tuesday versus St Bonaventure.

Depends how you define "must win." Certainly if they lose, the season is not over and the most important games of the season are still ahead of them. So it's not a "must win." But, I can anticipate what the world in which we lose on Tuesday would look and feel like, and I'd prefer not to live in that world.

Down in Fort Myers with my Dad, who is a LaSalle grad back from the glory days of LaSalle basketball. He can go on and on about Philly basketball fromthose days. Ace and him could have a good conversation for sure. Anyway gonna wear my Rhody gear and go find a sports bar to watch it with him.

Whether it is must win or not, I expect Rhody to roll. Explorers were trending toward a top-100 RPI team when we met them in early January, but they have fallen apart a bit since. And they're in a tough spot Tuesday with a URI team coming in feeling like they have something to prove. They are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

to me this is a pivotal game for RI. look around the country at all the good teams that have lost multiple games in a short period of time. granted, many of those teams have played teams much tougher than LaSalle. Regardless of opponent, I think this could be URI's most difficult game until the NCAA tourney. Win Tuesday night (even if they don't play their best), then come home to two sell out crowds and I think we get things rolling again.

I'll settle for 13.
I agree with 86 - Davidson is a much better team than La Salle, but if there is going to be a hangover, we will see it Tuesday night. If we win tomorrow, by the time we get to Davidson all the wind will be back in our sails and I won't sweat that one really.

Rothstein has this game as one of his games to watch:
initially, I wasn't thinking it would be there, but the "watch" is watching for how we react in our first game after losing for the first time since December.

In A10 play LaSalle is 5-2 at home. Lost to Bonnies by 11 and VCU by 6. Wins against SLU, Fordham, UMass, St Joes & Mason.
They are 0-7 on the road in conference.

They haven’t beat anyone good but SLU is in 4th place and St. Joe’s in 6th (7-7).

We didnt have to deal with BJ Johnson last time around and he is the only part of LaSalle that worries me at all. As long as we can contain him we should be fine.

It is early but some of the bad plays we saw against Bonnies. Getting dominated on the boards. LaSalle has as many O Rebs as Rhody has total Rebs. Too many turnovers too. And NO defense.
