Another observation. While both teams are well motivated for this game, I think the short term impact of a win is stronger for the Bonnies. A win for them will strengthen their chances for a NCAAT and counter their early stumble in A-10 play. For URI, the impact of a win has less short term impact since we are in a strong NCAAT position right now, but a win does have a more strategic and long term value, especially as toffees enhancement of the concept of "it's not a team but a program".

We all know what happened in 1998 when URI made the Elite 8 and just missed the Final Four. The strategic reward of that achievement was the Ryan Center. In 2018, URI is now approaching a similar juncture. While this game is important to that scheme, it is not the be all, end all. So I think the pressure at Reilly tonight will be more on the Bonnies.

Healthy Langevine has given us something new. New and different from the three losses. New and different from the earlier part of our schedule.

Pretty exciting how strong the Center spot is.

Basically after the initial start to the half DH uses Berry as instant offense if there is a lull. Then he uses Langevine as the answer to everything else.

Ayeni is still suspended if I remember correctly. I don't think we will see him play tonight which may help with their lack of depth on the front line.

Im literally sitting in the CLT airport and I look up from my computer and there's two members of the ladies team sitting across from me. They had a connecting flight to get to the Duquense game tonight. Has to be a good sign, right?

but at the same time if all they can do is hang on to moments where people were frustrated, then they aren't even worth devoting attention to.

Every fan base across sports uses the coach as the target of frustrations after devastating losses. It's part of coaching life unfortunately.

Hell, the PC board had threads questioning if Cooley had lost it this year alone. Patriots forums have massive threads calling out Belichick and blaming him for the Superbowl loss. It's how some express their frustration, right or wrong.

like I said in that thread, and have said since...nothing would and nothing does make me happier than being completely wrong about it all.

There's too many great things going on here and now to waste time giving any attention to PC trolls. If anything, get satisfaction from it. They are broken and frantically grasping at straws.

Hurley has them terrified over there. It's why they have a large thread doing mental gymnastics to convince themselves he's gonna bolt for the 1st open P5 job this year. Hell, they legit think he'd jump for Minnesota.
