Rhode Island Quahog Cup 2017

The Mythical Quahog Cup continues with the # 1 seeded URI Rams hosting the # 3 seeded Brown Bears on 11/28. On 11/26, the # 4 seeded Bryant Bulldogs and Brown played. These games are followed by the top seeded Rams hosting the PC Friars on 12/2 in Kingston. According to Team Rankings on 11/25; PC was ranked 36th, URI 38th, Brown 286th, and Bryant 308th. The top seed was awarded to URI having the home team advantage where the on campus Ryan Center is expected to be sold out and due the strength of their quality OOC schedule. Although the Rams have lost the last seven, this year a defensive Rhode Block will trigger the win for the Jared Terrell lead Rams. The winner of the URI and PC game gains ownership Quahog Cup bragging rights in the annual battle of Rhode Island.
