I wasn’t complaining bud, just thought it was a missed call. I’m most annoyed that we haven’t hit a free throw this half and missed a bunch of layups, game has actually been called pretty evenly

I agree with that, some guys are just spent out there. They say use your energy on defense, but Virginia makes you expend so much effort just to get a decent shot it tires guys out big time.

That pass that JT made that got intercepted, he never does that. They are getting gassed and worn down

In fairness I didn't think it was a foul in the run of play but it became obvious in the replay from a different angle and I think sweep pretty much admitted as much

Missed free throws and layups are the difference right now.

Overall I don’t think there is a lot of complaining in the thread, sweep came back and said with the different angle it was a foul. This game has been called evenly, we just missed a bunch of ft and layups... a ton of pts left out there

No margin for error without EC and Cyril. Starters need to deliver. Stan didn’t and Garrett didn’t.

I didn't notice the foul until I saw the replay. like I said, it isn't about whether or not there was a foul. the complaining isn't attractive even if the ref did blow the call. sorry...not trying to call out you alone. there were a couple other posts that complained about the calls in general as well.

rarely do these games get decided by bad officiating. in this case, RI just looks like a very tired team. you can see it in the number of shots that are just hitting the front rim and the missed free throws.

I agree there is a lot of complaining, but in my opinion this is a game thread where emotions are supposed to run high. Shouting down those who may be a little irrational on the side of Rhody is silly.

This is where we are missing EC, completely evident. Not fair.

Yeah we are tired or frustrated. We can't hit anything.

EC really would've helped.

Even if we had EC and Cyril, we all would have taken a 1-1 split in this tournament.

Mission accomplished.

Just did not have the firepower for this UVA team tonight. Would have needed one of our best shooting nights of the year to put up enough points against this defense, and without Cyril and EC we gave up too much size to keep them down in the 50s with us. Missed FTs definitely hurt, and I don't like to make excuses but I do think our legs just aren't there after playing a full 40 minutes against a good team last night. We got one on this trip, and it was the one we needed. Chins up, shoulders back Rhody.

I asked where the foul was. The replay showed me. Case closed. Never said the refs were jobbing us. Read all the previous bunny and FT posts prior to that post. Never once blamed officiating. I commented on the usual amount of travels called for both sides. Damn...
