They are selling out and especially the Senior Night last home game. Stubhub will be your only option if you don’t act fast

A family member of mine that is also a season ticket holder that lives near campus was buying additional seats for friends at the Ryan Center box office today. She was told that game this Saturday versus Duquesne is nearly sold out and sales have been very brisk for all the other remaining home games.

Last count on the blue dots for Duquesne had about 160 seats. Cmon, we need this to sell out!!!!!

Just bought an extra 4 tix for senior night...got some friends who are not currently season ticket holders that I am trying to convince

Based on dots there are only 16 single seats left for Duquesne game. Message states limited single seats only available. There is a pop up on the home page that says “Sold Out!”

Yeah, there's about 175 seats left. Most are obstructed view.

I wonder what "sellout" means ..... the Providence game had 7,959, which is greater than seating capacity.

I thought standing room wasn't allowed at the RC. They must have sold quite a few for the PC game. I saw plenty near me in 211, standing in the corner under the scoreboard.

At this rate let’s just let anyone in who wants to buy a ticket, they can stand anywhere.

There's the green dots. And there's those other little things you see. Those are obstructed view seats. There's also the wheelchair seats all the way at the top, but I don't think there are any of those left.

Duquesne is now Sold Out!

How are there any obstructed view seats? I cannot figure out how that is other than someone standing up in front of you.

I think it's the railings.

If you zoom in on the ticket sales for seating, there are seats that have a pair of glasses on them. Those are the obstructed view seats.

Right now there are 156 seats left. 16 regular seats and 140 obstructed view.

Rhody tickets are on the scalpers market!!!! How far have we come.

For example, if you look in 203, the young alumni section, there are 5 seats left, 3 regular seats and 2 obstructed view.

If we average 7500 for the last 5 home games, that will put the total home attendance for the season right around 100,000.

Divide that by 16, and average attendance will be a little over 6,200.....not too shabby.

Davidson looks like it will be a sellout as well.

Even the Vivid Seats are almost gone. Only 2 left. Going for 92 dollars apiece in sec 112. The only available tickets tomorrow will be from the scalpers outside. They will be there. As much as I despise scalpers, I will actually be glad to see them. How things have changed in Kingston. This is not PC. This is Duquesne.

Today's near sellout raises the average attendance to 5,803. If the season ended today, this number would be the 2nd largest average (high is 5,915) in the history of the Ryan Center. Trending 21.2% above LY through first twelve games.

If my math is correct we need to average 6,590.5 per game for our last 4 at home to average over 6,000 for the year. I think we do that easy.

Davidson looks like it’s a sellout or very close to it.

Davidson at home on a Friday will be a great turnout. Dayton at home on a Friday will be a great turnout. St. Joes Sr Night, last home game of the year will be a great turnout despite being a Tuesday. The only game that will be sub-6,000 could be Richmond on a Tuesday.

We had multiple weekday sellouts in the same week in 2008. It can happen.

With the win today this seems guaranteed. If we lost today, then for sure dropped out of Top 25 after being there only 1 week I’d be much less confident

Agreed. The Richmond game has a lot working against it for attendance - bad opponent, Tuesday weeknight, late 8:30pm start. It will likely be the hardest to get people to. If however Rhody continues on a roll, it still might get a fairly large crowd.

Richmond will for sure exceed 6000

It appears they call it a sell out if all unobstructed seats are sold, plus maybe scattered singles. The PC game must have sold all of those extras plus had standing room

Also depends on how many people are in the luxury boxes. Not sure the capacity of the boxes, but that makes a big difference. Also,looking at the green dots for Davidson, that is a sellout. Just a few tix left.

At this rate, if we win Friday, there will be overflow student attendance to take up any remaining seats vs Richmond.

Remember, in 2008, there was no problem selling out weeknight games. In fact, they did so twice in one week (lost both, thanks Jim Baron!).

Does it matter for crowd noise and impact on the game if we get Duquesne #s (7,400) vs a sellout (7,657)?
What prevents the sellout when we get close well in advance of the game?

i think the duquesne was the students, don't think they filled their allotment that game (not 100% sure but i remember looking early and not seeing the 300s for students filled)

We should be bartering small amounts of our now high-demand/low supply tickets for media and promotional support of the brand. Due to scarcity and a 14 game winning streak our home tickets have taken on new value.

Will students camp out for tickets? Would that be another first?

I hope they don’t. I hate that at Duke. They are there for an education. In this day and age use technology to do student ticket selection. They could register online for a lottery to then pick up their bracelet during the day.

BAR, no, students created Baronville back in 2008 & 2009 outside the Ryan Center.
