Wasn't Adams a top 150 recruit last year? That's a long drop down to 216.

Best freshman out of the group, from multiple accounts it's not even close.

A relatively under-recruited player who made a very smart decision to reclassify and get himself against some better competition.

He looks a lot bigger than 190 at 6'6". And he went 1 on 1 with Cam Reddish and held his own.
Everyone's looking at Jermaine but this kid could be the sleeper of the class!

I can see him starting ahead of Thompson by the beginning of A10 play.

Word is Jermaine will take some time to reach his potential. Not bad, but not "top 100" productive yet, high ceiling though.

Nice reminder to be patient with all of these freshmen but especially Jermaine.

I heard differently, heard Jermaine is already our best front court player on the team. Guess time will tell.

Cyril is the best front court player on the team right now. He has fully recovered from his injury. Should show much more offense this year.

Exactly what I heard. And again, I was told it's not close. When doing anything live, Cyril has been absolutely dominant.

I believe practice starts Sept 25th. I am sure Rhody will have their tradational night time event with both teams.
So a real open practice will be after that.

Kid is getting some high praise early on. Chris DiSano says he looks extremely impressive.

I think Tyrese will be more of a 2/3 for us.....hence the reason we are hitting Walker and McLeod so hard.....we seem set on the perimeter....including Jermaine's ability to shoot....Jermaine will be a 3/4....Tate, Cyril, and Walker would be 4/5 if we land Walker......Raheem is a 5 only....

One of the advantaged of a extra year PG. Martin is 19 years old - has an extra year of development and year of experience playing top prep competition. I believe that Martin was our second highest rated recruit so it make sense that he and Harris will get the most playing time of the Fr in year 1.

I think Rese is a 3. I think Dana is a 3/4 (taller and physical strength). The coaches have been emphasizing to Harris to get down low in practice. They want him to be a 4. Harris can be a four and still take the outside shot (like KI did occasionally). Harris is more physical than Walker. We also have Aris as a 3 or 4 (my guess is back up 4). For next year Long will be a 3 unless he grows and gets stronger. We still have plenty of Guards with Jeff, Fatts, Thompson (2/3) and Silverio. In writing this it makes me realize that positionless basketball is going to be a strength for Rhody. We have all these players that are 6’5” - 6’8”. A nice situation to be in.

Tyrese definitely a 3 and possibly a 2 if we want to play a really big lineup

Yes, this tweet aged well in that we now have Malik instead of Tyrese. Let's hope it turns out that MM will be better for us than TM.

I hate to say it, but watching UCONN vs Butler and Tyrese looks like a completely different player now. Whatever reasons he had for leaving, I hope for the best for the young man. Sometimes different environments are needed for players to flourish.
