This is as weird and as bad of a job as the committee has ever done. Not just with URI, but overall they are doing all the things that we hate about them - giving seeds based only on name (MSU) and not just straight not making sense (Duke). I'm glad we won today. We were definitely worthy of a bid but not sure we'd have gotten one based on the way this has gone.

10-12 seeds don't matter all that much so I wouldn't take it as a big diss. Like I was saying the committee does not like making a bunch of late changes so our seed was never going way up based on winning today.

We are in. We have a winnable 4 team pod. No complaining. We had 18 years to save.

Sacramento is the one place I did not want us at. I did not want to fly across the country for these games.

Seth Davis says it so matter of factly, wish we could just fast forward to being in the Sweet Sixteen. Eh, Creighton and Oregon are missing starters just pencil us in

100% agree that it is a great draw for us. Not only is Creighton beatable but I'm not exactly intimidated by Oregon either, especially since Boucher went down last night. I just think we are not seeded correctly. I think our resume finished as that of a 6-7 seed, although I expected to be a 9-10.

Only a 1 hour and 20 minute flight for me. Easy to get there from San Diego and I have plenty of Southwest points thru work...

For Sacramento I can guarantee not a noon ET start. Game times will probably be like 2:30 & 5pm, then break and night games 9/11:30pm. But anyone's guess...

Screw job of seed/location - but very generous with the draw we have.

It is hilarious to hear them lamenting Syracuse not making the dance.

Can't complain too much about the seed. I had thought best case was a #10. Sacramento is not an easy trip for fans. At least we are not playing a team which is close the site in the first game. If we get by CU, crowd will be very pro Oregon.

Sorry Preston but I want to see Rhody avenge its NIT one point loss to the Bluejays in Omaha back in 2008.

Was sweating it out a bit for VCU as they were on of the last teams announced.

Sorry for my SU alum brother but Syracuse with 14 losses and little success outside the dome did not deserve to go.

I feel bad for Illinois State fans. Hopefully they beat some P5 teams in the NIT.
