Davidson with a pretty bad end of game possession as Gibbs threw up an off balance 3 pointer. It is not just us....
Going to over time.

Well Marquette does suck. But it was impressive to hold them without a FG for the last 8 minutes of the game.

It's the Big East, not the SWAC.
It's not like they play in a conference where they play 13 teams against teams with RPIs over 100 and another 2 barely hanging on...

It's all good though, good day to be a basketball fan in RI.

Well of course they don't, they can't even get 13 teams that want to be in the conference anymore.

Marquette is ranked #1 in the country? I think you might be looking at the wrong rankings friend.

Marquette beat the number 1 team in the country earlier in the year.

I listened to the PC game on my way home. What a dump they play in. Play had to be continually stopped because players were slipping and sliding all over the court because of the condensation from the ice. Players were falling down when they had the ball, but the refs didn't call travelling because of the condition of the court. I only heard the last 8 minutes or so, and they had to stop the game about 10 times in those 8 minutes.Even Rooke said he was wondering when the clowns were coming out because the place is a circus. It's a good thing somebody didn't tear up their knee at that joke of an arena. The Dump could have had a huge lawsuit on their hands.

My favorite part of this whole thing is that their team just had a nice win at home and all these two guys could think to do was come post on the URI message board.

I'd love to bang on PC, but it's not an uncommon occurrence in arenas where there is ice under the floor when the weather changes so quickly. Games have been cancelled because of it.

We have no basis to bang on PC. Cooley gets the most out of his talent, they overachieve, talent wise they aren't an NCAA team but he has them playing like one.

Not getting how this turned into a PC hate fest?
Seven in a row by them, over us.
Three NCAAs in a row and a 4th a possibility.
We look foolish, slamming their program.

Gonzaga is no longer undefeated.
BYU beat them, 79-71 at The Pound.
Gonzaga has lost 6 games in 3 years there,
and BYU did it 3 times.
Also beat the Zags 4 years in a row.
BYU has a terrific big in 6'10" Eric Mika,
who can score from anywhere, and
isn't afraid to mix it up under the basket.
He had 29-11 tonight.

Yes that was a huge BYU upset great finish, Zags could fall to a 2 seed ??

Now we need all bubble teams to lose in case we win our next 4 and lose in the a10 finals

All I said about PC is that they play in a Dump. Rooke said Cooley was pissed. He heard him saying stuff like, "A fucking floor is going to ruin our season" and something about " paying the fucking rent".

I watched that game too. Mika was very impressive.

In the beginning of the game I thought maybe URI should try to get BYU in the Ryan center next year. Then at the end I figured it was too high risk and low reward. They are/will be very good.

They are 3-8 against the top 50.

8 top 100 wins.
It's odd seeing Xavier struggle.
Have to feel for them with their injury struggles though :/
