I tortured myself and re-watched this on watchespn. Man that was a real choke, tons of opportunities to ICE it and they just didnt take advantage. You cant lose a 4 point lead with 20 seconds left at home.

totally a monday morning QB post here..

but i rewatched just now...

we had 1 TO left

we could have called a TO after we got to midcourt w/ 5 sec left

again tho. this is just a bitter post :(

That's definitely a MMQB post there. It's actually good to have the time out in case URI could not have inbounded with 1.4 left. Considering how poorly the play was designed and executed, probably should've used the final time out when the 1st and 2nd options were not available on the inbounds from the baseline corner.

Again...the inbounds play was maybe the highlight (slight exaggeration) of DH's seven years on the bench. Great spacing and allowed a wide open look to the 3rd option for the win when the other options were well defended. Got to make the pass, though.
As for the five second TO, why? You have the ball in the hands of the player you want at halfcourt. The issue is with what was designed from there. Gross.
