Disgraceful. And rest of the union lets it go because maybe one day they can game the system too, even if they all look bad as a result. Right?

I think, in the past, unions served a valuable purpose. Worker protection for conditions, hours, child labor, numerous things...but with federal regulation (much of it from valid prompts by unions) and the fact that very little happens in a vacuum anymore, that time is past. Those unions that exist now are often like tails that wag dogs. There is a reason that companies that don't have to deal with unions...don't.
