Kevin Mac's Advice to URI following PC and Valpo Defeats

From his post game article on December 3:
“We’ll all be excited to get back in [Sunday] and start preparing for another high-level team in Old Dominion and then going to Houston, who is a top-three team in their conference,” Hurley said. “We have to get back to just thinking about accomplishing the goals that we set out for this team. We expect to have a long and great season. Nothing’s changed for us. There are a lot of ups and downs in seasons. We lost two tough road games against two pretty good teams in tough venues in games seven and eight. We just have to have a little perspective and not lose our minds.”
In order to meet that short-term goal, Hurley and his players had best stay off the campus quad and avoid the mindless social media chat rooms. A loss to the hated Friars, especially when you’re a short favorite and nationally ranked is a bitter pill to swallow.
