16 points and a win over uconn and people used to give me crap when I said he was better than Jordan hare. He is.

Seen Alterique Gilbert play a few times on the AAU circuit and he never impressed me as highly ranked as he was. I kept thinking his ranking would drop and possibly UCONN would drop his offer but now here he is playing 35 minutes off the bench for UCONN as a freshman and he played quite well. I thought I'd take Daron Russell and Jeff Dowtin over Gilbert but maybe I just caught him having some less than stellar games in AAU.
URI recruit Steve Enoch played 7 minutes going 0-5 FG with a couple rebounds.
UCONN certainly did not look like a top 25 team

Didn't Enoch play for some random Eastern European's countries National Team this summer? I thought they were expecting big things from him this year...
